Personal Projects

GPTSense (04/09/23)

GPTSense was my project for the Los Altos Hacks VII Hackathon. It is a text classification model trained on 42,000 AI and human responses. This was a team project that I worked on with Daniel Ke, Michael Xu, and Aiden Lundberg. My role for this project was primarily to create the AI and I also helped to collect training data. This project ended up winning 4th place, although the cutoff for prizes was 3rd place :(

Garbage Classifier (09/25/22)

In the Los Altos Hack VI Hackathon, my team created an image classification model trained to detect the type of waste in an image and whether it was recyclable. For this project, I worked with Raymond Liu, Michael Xu, and Marcus Gao. I was responsible for creating the AI and worked as the team leader.

Gantry Printer (07/28/21)

This is a robotics project that I started during quarantine in 8th grade. I was inspired by Michael Reeve's "surgery" robot, but instead of making a potential torture device, I aimed to create a printer that could print on a bigger scale and wider range of surfaces in comparison to a regular printer. This was a personal project that required the use of multiple skillsets including: 3d modeling, design, embedded systems, and programming.
